courses were easier than @ my home university (Vienna), so if you want to spend a nice "party" semester, strasbourg will be a good choice.

There is more space and freedom when living in a private appartment. I am living with a French person which is very helpful for improving my language skills.

University housing is simpler than renting a private appartment because students are given a lot of help at the beginning on filling out important forms and knowing their right. I didn't have this help. University accomodation is cheaper but in Strasbourg it is usually not furnished so there are extra expenses.
