All I can reccommend is try to involve yourself with native people instead of only people that speak your language. You will learn the language much faster that way as well as gain friendships. Don't be shy, just practice every chance you get talking to anyone.

Sanish people are very communicative and open minded ... I would advice to look for some native collegues asap, rather than hanging around with other ERASMUS!!!

It was more difficult to understand people when they talked together in groups. One-to one conversation was much better.
