Happy about the continuous progress
Stefania K
Greece, Graduate
Accountancy, 2020
Overall
I am very pleased with the curses that my University provides as well as my teachers. All students are very friendly which makes studying there a pleasure. Some cons include the not really helpful secretary office as well as the lack of laboratory tools which are really old and almost not suitable for use anymore.

Course recommendations
The language intensive is, well, not very intense. For students to really make strides in their Greek, they must take it upon themselves to find additional work outside the classroom. Athens is a city where students don't have to speak Greek if they really don't want to, so an effort MUST be made to use the language at every chance (no matter how uncomfortable it makes you feel).

Personal comments
Some students (and some of those on scholarship) are more interested in Greek vacation than Greek studies. There is little to no evaulation of students by the university -- a strong ability to work independantly is essential (if you really want to improve your Greek). The weekend excursions provided by the university are FANTASTIC and a terrific opportunity to work on your Greek. Not to be missed.

Better than you expect
Sofia K

Overall
UOA provides with a great knowledge background for whoever would like to begin with a strong bachelor. Most of the proffesors are very talkative, approachable and willing to help you since they themselves have a solid academic background.

Nikolaos K
Greece, Graduate

Overall
This Master's programme is brand new, as we are the first students that were accepted. It is very interesting, but also very challenging, given that it combines both linguistics and programming - maths.
