Ireland is a lovely place when is sunny, and the people are so kind almost all the time that you will never forget them

I wish I had known...

The fact the the year spent at GMIT will not be recognised in Romania, which is completely my home university's fault, The Irish part has done excatly what promissed and I have no complaints connected in any way to GMIT. The weather, it is much worse than anybody would ever imagine!!!

Final comments

If there is a sunny day, enoy it as much as possible, because it is highly unlikely to see another one soon. Travel has to be done in September or in May-June period, but it is a must in this country, as there are a lot of beautiful and interesting places to see.

“Accomodation sucks”

Overall

Housing is a big problem and even though the school tries to help students, its near to impossible to find accomodation.
The course is well thoug-out and most lectures are relevant for the course. The pandemic definitely lowered the quality of teaching in my experience, but I can't really point at university for that. GMIT has now become a Technical University which is a hige pro. In my case work placement was cancelled due to the pandemic
