When you are an erasmus student you can´t leave behing the erasmus party at Mix Club, next to Montparnasse Tower. If you want to have a coffe or a drink in a quiet way you may go between Pompidou Center and Le Marais. There are lots of places to have a drink and enjoy the street life. You can´t miss too Kong which is the top bar of Kenzo building. You have a wonderful view of Seine river. There is a great club called Showcase just under Alexandter III bridge.

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
My university doesn´t have campus so I couldn´t choose this option. Wit a family could have been a great opportunity to learn french but when you go as an erasmus student, the family option is a little limited. In this case I would try to find other exchange students to share an appartment in order to live together with people from other nationalities.

They didn´t really help you at all. It was an issue that you have to find personally. Paris is a big city and difficult to hire, even more when you are an abroad student. Even I was european I had to present lots of documents to prove my reliability. I had a friend living in Paris so he helped with this stuff.

Personal spending habits
Paris is the capital of France and a very touristic city. This implies that every and each price is double than any other city. I spent more because the prices were higher than home, not because I bought more than home.

Academic
Course recommendations
The spanish system is very different from the american one which is followed at Inseec. Inside Inseec there is the MBA Institute where you fin the same studies but in english and they follow the american system. The international students go to MBA Institute although you could choose some courses from the french one. In my case I really learnt a lot, quite different from my home university where we study a lot. There was pretty much practical and real.

In the same way of recommendations, the learning system is very useful. You can manage real cases and see how companies really work. You study with current companies you it is easier to assume the concepts than when you have to do it yourself by simply studying.

Independence implies not only advantages but also disadvantages. Independence gives you the freedom of doing what you want when you want but also times of loneliness. Lonelines is not bad at all, but you should know how to manage it and take advantage of it. You become more creative and start finding solutions for a problem earlier and faster.

Final comments
It is easy to travel from Paris because it has wonderful communications. France is a wonderful country to visit and know, so many things to do and to discover: culture, food, wines, history and so on. If you are going to live in Paris (within the 20 arrondisements) is helpful to inquire about everything. For example, thursday afternoon are entrance free for students to D´Orsay Museum, or friday afternoon to Louvre Museum.

The university and social language was english. We spoke english between students because most of them could talk it easily, without any problem. It was a great chance to improve my english and french at the same time. At the beginning I recognized that I got nervous but then everything became easier. I worked also taking care of a little child which helped to improve my french.
