At the beginning my command of Spanish was very poor, but since there was no other choiche than spaeking Spaninsh I had to speak it all day. In fact I liked it to be forced to speak ot, and have no reference with any european languages.

As an International Business Student my language skills in the local language were very technical and it was more the knowledge of every-day language (shopping, direction, social conversations, telling a story etc) that I had to acquire.

a lot of interaction with locals, so you learn a lot to practice and use spanish daily. the language course at school has a mixed group of different levels, so it is hard to make progress. but you get some useful insights.
