Try to take classes on Tuesday and Thursday only. So you have a 4 day weekend. I had it, it was great!

huge majority of students are from VA...a lot of good interaction with profs...without a car you are pretty much stuck on campus...lots of cliques...NO diversity at all...way too much importance given to frats/sororities

Final comments
Very easy to drive anywhere, roads are in good conditions, gas is not expensive and there are motels, or lodges you can sleep in almost everywhere.

There is basically 5 bars you can go to. There are no dance clubs here in the traditional sense!!! But there are places where you can dance. Party mostly take place in peoples homes. Harrisonburg is not the place to go wild but you can have fun if you want to. If you like big city life, dont go to Harrisonburg, you would not like it.
