I take the english as the home language; because most of the people speak both swedish and english.

Herrgar'n, campus pub...quite ok... Other good discos downtown but everything is very expensive!

Final comments

as all the experience you can do as an erasmus student it was extremely helpfull and intereseting, something all the european student have to do before finishing their studies.

I do not remember the name of the places we went to in town... There were a couple of good bars

Personal comments

One of the most obvious points is that the Swedes have an extremely good level of English. This means conversations will most likley lead to English and so to practice Swedish takes an extra effort. Otherwise, it is a failry simple lanugage gramatically, but not the easiest for pronunciation.
