Danish and Swedish are both scandinavian languages and very similar. The pronunciation and some words are a bit different, but it only took 2-3 weeks to adjust. This is where I would differ from most other exchange students wisiting Sweden.

In Sweden is quite difficult to learn the language, because there, everybody talked English, the lessons were in english, TV in English, and the pronuntiation is really difficult, at least for people from Spain, France and Italy.

Most teachers and students speak really good english, with few exceptional teachers I would say. Swedish language is somewhat difficult at the beginning (and a bit funny) but later you can cope with that

Swedes speak excellent english. It was easy to find your own way there. There was always someone around who could and was ready to help you. No communication problems occured. I loved to live there.

it was easier for french people who knows german to learn swedish. i studied spanish and i had the opportunity to improve thanx to the others spanish students.

Everybody speaks English in Sweden so I didn't have any kind of problems. Learning Swedish was just impossible for me, anyway I give up quite soon.
