Personal recommendation
I have to say "takkso mycket" for all. It was a great time and it is still impossible for me to wake up with a bright smile. Out of my point of view you are very well supported, the working atmosphere is more than good, but it is also impossible to compare the university level with the level of my home university for example. Both systems are very different from each other.

Final comments
Try to see Kiruna for the landscape, Sälen for skiing, Stockholm for shopping, Uppsala for the atmosphere and night-life, the lake for chilling, the International Office for any kind of tips, the Karen for laughing, and all kind of pubs, clubs...in order to spend your money. Then you can be sure to have a nive time in Västeras and the rest of Sweden.

Very funny are the so called "after partys". When you like mainstream entertainment then you find enough clubs and discos, but sometimes it is more interesting to go to private partys, the people are more open-minded. And you should try to contact people from other countries and other cultures. You don`t have to travel lots of miles in order to search for people of your own nationality (that is nonsense, but a few people behave like this).
