OverallThe college does not have a dedicated office to assist students directly in their hunt for mandatory internships, however, they do make a reasonable effort to provide opportunities. Moreover, their campus accommodates teknokent center, a research facility housing numerous domestic and international companies to assist students and benefit from the college's research output.

Overall
METU is one of the best universities of the country, which has the prominent professors in related fields and has the most beautiful campus culture. It is an alive campus with lots of activities all around. It is so clean and big that you would enjoy every square of the campus along with its high-quality educational atmosphere.

It is a demanding school in many aspects. Instructors expect high quality work from students and you definitely see the pay off when you attend to a Master program in another country (for my case Luxembourg)

Pros
Campus life is amazing. Students and instructors respect each other and no one ever discriminates you based on your gender, ethnicity, religion etc.
Cons
The expectations from the instructors do not match with other universities i.e. EU universities. This made me feel like I needed to do more than what was acceptable in order to receive my diploma.

Courses are really difficult but for sure with the professors you can scale up to another level. Campus is HUGE where everything is offered gym, pool etc. Overall I am more than satisfied to have studied in METU, the best university in the country.

The campus has many opportunities for student. The quality and content of classes are elaborate. However sometimes it can be hard to develop and improve interests to other subjects while students are busy with school.

Why?
The university is so big that it is advantageous to live there. My choice to live on campus would depend upon which facility I am assigned. Some facilities on campus are less than desirable.

The accommadations are nice in general. The have help to clean the facility. Laundry, food, computer and recreation services are available in each facility.
