I was one of only a handful of students from Australia. I had no trouble with making friends with local students. It was nice when people came up and asked where you were from.

Harry's Chocolate Shop was a definate favourite of mine. All the bars were. Penny beer nights at Pete's, Breakfast Club at Where Else, always things to do at night.
