The general teaching is not very great - but I guess that is expected from all unis.
I loved when everything was online. Some lecturers post some pre-recorded short videos that I could watch instead of lectures which were awfully boring.
A good number of modules provided challenging exercises that helped you learn.
During labs, there are students from the years above, called "Demonstrators" who help you if you have any problems. A good number of them are really good. I am also a Demonstrator for some modules for the years below me, it pays really well!
There is a building dedicated to CS students' labs and personal studies which I really like/

La oficina de carreras
There is a person in charge of Industrial Placements who does a great job and regularly emails events or opportunities for internships of all durations. Very helpful in looking over CV as well and giving you information from other students who have already done internships/placement years.
Careers service also pretty good. Host workshops on interviews, CVs, Assessment Centres etc. Also very nice to speak to. ALl staff are helpful and friendly.

I loved the time at QM. The people I had contact with were very helpful. Although I had to find out many (mostly administrative) things on my own. But it is the same in Germany. So no need to worry about that.

Don't miss the introducing events which I had one week before the semester started. If the university does not tell you that ask for it! You will find many ERASMUS students there.
All in all: You won't be disappointed.

More packing advice. Well, there was plenty, but it was very hard to take it seriously! Bring big bag, put another bag in it (like a soft duffel bag that can be folded up) and fill it 3/4 with whatever it is you're bringing. THAT'S IT. Everything else is unnecessary, and especially if you're in London, you'll just end up buying a ton of stuff anyways.

Queen Mary is very small and rather intimate. The teachers are very nice and willing to talk to you outside of class. The Humanities classes were all rather easy, too.

Don't pack too much. In fact, pack too little.
Always keep about 2 days worth of necessities (like contact lens supplies, a change of socks, etc) in your carry-on. That was one piece of advice that I felt was unnecessary, but paid attention to anyways. And it paid off, because the airline lost my luggage and it didn't arrive in London when I did!
STA is a rip-off. Always book flights on-line from Go Fly (the best), Easyjet, or Ryan Air. It's so much cheaper. And go to Stansted--it's very easy to get there, and not as overwhelming as Heathrow. Just make sure to take the Stansted express train from Liverpool St, not the bus because it never comes on time.
Plan out a budget. Multiply by 3. And forget about travellers checks, they're mostly a waste of time and a pain to get changed over. Just use the almighty ATM and credit card.

Students are provided with high-quality education as the teachers have experience “in the field” which make them valuable as not only theoretical but even practical professionals.

Alojamiento
Tipo de alojamiento: flat share
Organizado por: Independientemente - no había otra opción
Si volviera, eligiría: flat share
¿Por qué?
You life together with other people. Mostly students. If you are lucky you might find a flat share with english people (you will see other ERASMUS students anyway!).

Comentario personal
Due to shortage of rooms I was not able to life on the campus. This might have been changed now. Living in halls is definitely much easier and usually less expensive than on the "free market".
