Recomendación personal
Regent's provided a pretty good package overall. But, it's only downfall is that you won't be studying with many British students; and the Europeans that do study there are extremely rich and barely associate with the American students.

Travel as much as you can! That experience alone is worth more than anything you will learn from any text book.

The location is fabulous, and it's very cost-effective and convenient. Plus there's a great feeling of community.

Comentario personal
The rooms were/are in the process of renovation, so things are pretty new and spotless. The rooms are spacious and very adequate, with several community bathrooms on each floor. The only thing I didn't like about the rooms is that some of the furniture is permanently attached, so you can't rearrange the room. Since I didn't spend very much time in my room anyway, that really didn't matter much.

everything costs all most twice as much as the states. just be careful to not go out too much. you can figure out nice weekends to scotland/france/italy etc. for $200 per weekend. buy a 'peanuts' phone card at the baskin robbins down the street, dont go to a phone card stand or you'll get ripped off.

books are actually cheaper than in the states. try to get a bank account with a bank that has a branch in london so you dont have to pay fees to use the ATM.

The dorms are almost all American study abroad students. If you like dorm life it's pretty much what you'd expect from a dorm. the dorms are part of the college in the park, which is really nice, but you don't get to experience a real London neighborhood and meet locals.

The beds suck, i didn't sleep well most of the time. Even though the dorms were mostly Americans, we did get to know the few europeans that lived there quite well.

take a theatre class---you get to go to a variety of plays for free. also civilization of london you go on a field trip every week, it saves a lot of money. i thought my art class would be fun but it wasn't.

all of the papers and tests are at the end of the semester rather than having assignments throughout so the end can be a little stressful. a lot of americans hung out with americans, but if you make the effort you can meet international students.

¿Por qué?
On campus was very convenient for me because I didn't have to buy groceries and cook for myself, which could've been more expensive and/or taken up a lot more of my time than I would have preferred.

Just the fact that I got to live in Regent's Park was amazing. The location is close to everything you need. The rooms were not bad, considering this was my first dorming experience. It's definitely doable.
