I wish I had known...
I guess I had a bit of a culture shock, going from the northern europe to Italy... Also more language skills would have eased my socializing.

Overall
The campus is great with its structure and you can feel the classic smell. Most of the faculty are very kind and they'll try there best to make you understand with the topic. It's very liberal so you can take your time to finish the exams. I got friends with different continents and our syllabus touch different aspects of the main stream

Great experience but very challenging
Ksenija S
Netherlands, Undergraduate
Development Studies, 2010
Overall
Overall it was a great undergraduate experience, with very qualified professors and a great variety of courses. However it is a very big and not so well organized University so learning how to navigate it and deal with the bureaucracy and all the rules is quite challenging. But what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger!

Why I love my University
Shyryn B
Kazakhstan,
Business Studies, 2023
Overall
I loved my 3 years study at Sapienza University of Rome. I believe it was the best time of my life. I loved every part of the city and the way to my university. The campus is huge and easy to get used to. Every professor had office hours and attending them outside of the class helped me a lot with my exams. After classes we would gather at local nearby cafe to have some coffe with my classmates. I have practiced my english a lot and also had some italian lessons from local cafe owners. Every exam season was hard to prepare, we had to read whole 500 page books to pass our exams except the fact that we also had ppt fro, our professors. In overall, everything was really experiencing and interesting, I have huge background experience to tell and show.

Careers
My university had two websites, to which we were obliges to register in our last year of study. Thus, we had many internship offerings list. It was up to us to apply or accepts them. We had jobsoul and almalaurea websites. Twice a year we had  zoom calls regarding career path, how to prepare CV, how to prepare for an interview etc.

It's a very big university with a lot of faculties spread in the whole city. The local students are very nice and willing to help when you don't understand some parts of the courses. There is also an Erasmus Association within the university which organizes lots of activities. My study experience at La Sapienza was very good and I don' t regret at all haven chosen this university.

Try to get the most out of this experience. It's a good way to get independent and to realize some things by yourself. Its' not always easy in the beginning as you feel quite alone but the experience is really worth it.
