Be smart, do your research, avoid this school!
Djurdja T
Allemagne, Master
, 2018
Évaluation globale
I can honestly say this is the worst school ever. If you want to enroll in the master program, please do not. Not only will you waste your money, as the education level is so low, but you want to lose your patience. They are the worst, first of all. They do not work as a team and they do not know how to do it. Second, you used, mistreated, and extorted for money. The school is probably the most incompetent director of all time. You want to be tricked, you will not receive any help and you will be treated like dirt. This is the school where sexual harassment and physical attacks are tucked under the rug. Students are not taken care of. You will not get any internship opportunities or opportunities after your graduation. You always want to go on any trip and you want to deal with a bunch of issues along the way, especially with the professors. So do not confuse the picture of the school with that of a big campus. Schiller has only about 100 students, 20 of which are master students. Such low numbers are a true reflection of the price/quality ratio. So Schiller exists in Heidelberg for over 50 years, yet no one in Heidelberg knows where the school is and they do not have it in their systems. They have just had problems, and they had to buy one just a few months ago. The whole system is on thin legs. Find yourself a better option. So, important to mention, Taking the credits from this school into account is the best way to get a Ph.D. in Germany. Think about your future, do proper research. Do not waste this amount of money and make a year of your life for something so wrong!

Problem of the career office that I encounter

Évaluation globale
I am looking for an internship independently. Personally, I think the school board wants to help but they give you basic help like searching for internship which I think everybody or anybody at all can do that. Personally, aside this trait, I think the career office is doing a good job by even researching on which types of internships are paid and unpaid. That’s is, the types of internships that pays their interns and the ones that are free.

Inconvénients
They could organise a forum in which they could teach how to boost CVs or how to stand out in applying for internships because students cannot go to them one by one. There would be much more time-saving if a forum is organised for discussion.

I found it difficult to learn German. Most Germans speak excellent English, and my studies were all in English. I was only able to take one semester of German due to time/money constraints. Schiller graduates must achieve at least an intermediate level in a foreign language, and I had already chosen Spanish due to previous studies. If you make an effort to study and practice, you can learn it. I was too involved with my English-speaking fellow students.
