Course recommendations
Except from the Spanish classes (my favourite!)I found the marketing classes very interesting, and they had good quality-staff/ -prof's.

I could of not asked for a better group of people to get to live with or go to school with. This experience was amazing. Travel as much as you can... and meet as many people as possible. This is a wonderful place to study and learn about an amazing culture.

I wish I had known...
I wish I would have gone to a bigger Univeristy and a more American one in Madrid so I could meet more Americans and more variety of people. There is a BIG one very close to Suffolk and I am applying here.

You only have one chance to have a good experience in another country. Spain is beautiful and you should go. The dollar is weak now and Suffolk is not worth what they charge. There are a few good people there but overall, I can't recommend it. Look at bigger places first. Visit first. Look for an AMerican director.

I tried doing something different every weekend. I started my party on Thursdays by going to Casa de Cerveza, where you pay 8 euros and you drink as much as u can until 2 AM, then after that i usually go to Cool. On Fridays there is Velvet Lounge, which plays all the latest hip hop, or there is also Kapital which is really good, that plays a variety of everything. On Saturday there is Ministery of Sound. And Sundays there is O'Connells where everyone goes to watch the NFL and have a few drinks.

Make sure that you are cleared at home with the courses you are going to take there. Make sure you talk to Paco if you have any problems. Actually go to class and learn something.

It was a blast and I would do it all over again if I could. I not only learned a lot about another country, but I learned a lot about myself as well.

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
I would live in an apartment because you have more freedom but if you wanted to meet people it I would suggest living in a dorm.
