Spain is great. Suffolk is not. If you come, come with a friend, refuse the mandatory housing, travel and get lots of A's because classes are easy.

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
Some insist that living with a family is the best. However, I argue that I was able to live independently and chose my own camino for cultural understanding by having an apartment with two non-english speaking roommates.

In Madrid it is difficult to find a host family due to the cramped living conditions of most families in this large city.

well if you go to suffolk, you definitely want to hit up cats, a local bar in the moncloa area. also larios is a nice upper class jazz bar, but if you wanna hear the blues, definitely go to populart, that's near sol. also dont miss out on going to the theatre and seeing movies. it's a great way to become immersed in the language.

While you are studying in Spain... there are endless options every night of the week. O'Connells, Casa de Cerveza, Honky Tonk are some of my favorites. Bring alot of money.. especially if you are going to the Malaga trip. Be ready to have a blast.. and if you are in Malaga at the end of August go to La Ferria... HAVE A BLAST!!!

Seems as though the administration only makes improvements when everything falls apart. The students are not listened to and because of that my university refuses to send students there. Weather can be BADS in Janury February.
