Everybody knows that Norway is an expencive country, and although Madrid is not the cheapest place in Spain, I felt rich compared with my own country.

The Discos/ Nightclubs charge over-price for the drinks!! Wherever the locals eat/ drink, you'll find GOOD quality food/ drinks, for less money..

Flora is the best! If you are sociable and want to meet a variety of different people...stay there. BUT, you must also be able to get along with all kinds of people. I loved it!

I spent more on food because I was curious to taste the differenmt foods. Telephone? I called my family in the States. Accomadation? We traveled frequently. Nightlife? We went out 4-5 times a week!

It's impossible to describe Madrid in just a few words!.. I've been back several times since, and I'm still not bored with it! They have a million pubs and disco's, and the party never stops!!! We love the places around Plaza St. Ana and Chueca, but you'll soon find your own favourite...
