Because I like living with more people with my same age. I also think that living alone is very sad, even when you are in a country at the north of Europe, because of the wheather.

In Delft, all the accomodation for foreign students belongs to Duwo. It is like an Organization. In this way, all the students live in similar situation: the same kind of flats, furniture,... every year, since long time ago, I believe. So, to every flat or room from the Duwo you go, you can see that every thing is quite old and already used by many students. I don´t like that. I think that Duwo should check every year its flats and buildings and try to repair everything that needs to be repaired.
My impression is that all the flats, rooms, and buildings from Duwo are like forgotten.

Well, basically the euro is much stronger than the singapore dollar and the standard of living is higher. i pretty much live the same way i do, but its just not as affordable in Holland than in Singapore. The only plus point is the cheap beer in Holland. Beer in Singapore is 5 times more expensive.

well, there are a lot of coin denominations in the euro currency and that makes it very troublesome to carry coins around as you will end up with a lot of useless 1 cents , 5 cent coins that you cannot seem to get rid of. However you really need to have a local bank card and do all your transaction electronically to save yourself the hassle of going home with a bag full of useless coins.

There I could see how a course can be taught properly. There were no more than 20 students taking a course at the time, so the teachers could attend you on a more personal way. As well, nice specific courses, very well planned and with a very practical point of view. Excelent education.

Since TU Delft is a university opened to international students, I would ease the contact between those international students and the local dutch students. I think that would make the academic much more attractive.

Course recommendations
I am impressed with the number and quality of courses at TU Delft. They are really good at what they teach. But, like in most universities, you have to be quick in signing for a course. The difficulty of a course is also very unapparent so it is always better to investigate the course beforehand by talking with the instructor of the course and reading its course content and workload.

Avoid lumping all the international students together, provide more chance for interaction between locals and foreigners. The whole purpose of these exchange programmes are for cross-cultural exchange and immersion. The university should place that in mind, instead of simplifying matters by lumping all the exchange students together.

Because I can have a little of privacy at my own apartment. And I am very happy livinig in the apartment.

The housing is pretty good, but very expensive. In my case, I live in wonderfull place very close to university and sportcentrum, but the rent is bigger than monthly scholarship. So I have to pay not only for living expanses but also for the apartment.
