an aparment is much cheaper than staying at the campus. that's why the last 2 months i stayed with two colleagues in an apartment and it's easy to get one.

normally you get a single room with a bathroom in the international student building. the common kitchen is very small and has poor facilities. within few days you can get internet access if you apply for it.

During next year I left my campus room, I live now in an apartment outside of the campus, it's pretty much better, and bigger for the same price.

Too much foreigners in the same building. If you want to learn chinese, you'd better stay with chineses.

As student accomodation is totally overpriced, I strongly recommend taking an apartment outside campus.

For the first 3 month,I lived on campus;generally spoken the rooms were not that bad,however as mentioned above,far to expensive for Chinese living standards, therefore it's better living off campus enjoying better housing at almost the same price.

Had to pay 3 months in advance; a nice apartment outside would have been the same.

A very good way to get contacts. But the advance paying is quite a burden if you only stay one semester.
