“Modern university”

Finland, Undergraduate
Business Studies, 2019
Overall
For international students, harsh weather concerns them the most when thinking about Finland but why not try? I am from Vietnam, a typically tropical country which is hot all the year time. Just merely thinking of minus 30 degree in winter makes me shiver. However, everything is not as bad as I was expected. I was helped by the doctors whenever I felt bad (I could easily book an appointment with them via phone call).
Moreover, teachers team is one of my considerations which makes me satisfy with my decision to be here in TUAS, Every semester, I have at least one meeting with my teacher tutors so that they can follow up my study as well as I can express my difficulties. On the other hand, I can easily contact with them via email or coming straight to their offices.
Finally, the school facilities are easily to access with modern technology. I am able to use computer rooms, printers by only one Access card which i am given from school.
For those reasons, I have never been regretful that I chose TUAS as the place I would spend more than 3 years for my bachelor degree.
What about you now? Why didn't you let yourself a chance to be here with TUAS.

Course recommendations
Take Cisco networking as it is the best choice, a lot of ECTS points, free and recognised by the industry. Also, take courses with Harvey but NEVER take classes with Helja.

Finnish teachers are very subtle. If they suggest something, do it or they may get irritated - they will not show it but your grade will reflect it.

Overall
I started my study at Turku University of applied sciences in 2018 as an open path student. I was not their student but I had chance to study and prove my skills. I enjoy studying there all the staff and teachers were supportive so I studied two and completed 162 ETC. Due to tuition fee because I was pakistan citizen at that time. I didn't have enough money to pay the tuition fee in the end of 2022 I got Spanish citizenship and I just re-started my studies and looking for job experience
