I wish I had known...
That it was going to be so difficult and that there would be NO support what so ever. Had I known that I was going to struggle so much with the language I would have demanded some supplemental Spanish language courses during my stay. I would have asked more about help centers or activities to spend time with native speakers as well.

In my opinion:
Stay home.
Important factors in my choice
(1) Unimportant – (4) Very important
Personal recommendation
That they treat all exchanges with some understanging, not just ERASMUS programs- that they did have programs for as in activities and free language courses. That they are simply INFORMED about who the international students are.

During my experience abroad, I ...
(1) Never – (4) A lot
Became familiar with another culture
Met people from other countries
Experienced a change in life
Advanced my studies & career
Final comments
Take the bus, not the train from the airports of Madrid or Malága because it´s cheaper and quicker. Also, don´t get a directflight to Granada because the prices are sky high.

José A
Spain, Undergraduate
Business Studies, 2021
Overall
No.

“Trad. e Int. Árabe/Español en Granada”
Mamina C
Spain, Undergraduate
Translation/Interpretation, 2018
Overall

“Currently looking for a internship related to Psychology through the Erasmus+ international mobility program in the Universit of Granada”
Elena L

Overall
The school offers online tools for the students to find the desired jobs. They facilitate a list of online web pages to look for a internship and other resources for us to learn how to elaborate the CV, the motivation letter, etc.
The Erasmus+ program of the UGR offers a scholarship for graduate students to have the first work experience related to the studies accomplished.

I went in the 2nd semester. If you're doing that, make sure you go early so you get the best choice of houses/courses/etc.

Granada is awesome, great nightlife, beautiful weather, go and see the Alhambra. But travel round as well. Make sure you go to Sevilla, it's amazing.
