In our program we were not intergrated with local or international students, but that wasn't the Universidad de Oviedo's fault...it was lack of coordination on the part of our home university

It was a nice change to see how Spanish students take exams and are assessed differently than in the U.S. I liked that we were assesses as spanish students would be assessed since we were in their country.
If looking for a more intensive course it may be better to look into private academies.

Classes not starting till late in the afternoon seems great at first but i feel this reduces students motivation to study and encourages students to miss classes. Should also be more continuous assessments and more emphasis on oral classes.

Compared to Sweden standards are lower in Spain and the relation teacher/student is old-fashioned, but I do not regret it!

The teachers ought to treat the students with respect and as fellow human beings. That is as equals.
I missed team working, projects, essays and the discussions that are common at my home university
