Cum Laude was always packed with young people, locals and foreigners alike, playing the latest pop hits. The Irish Rover was mostly for English-speakers; people spoke English to you at the bar. It played lots of hip-hop and had live music occasionally. The Grillo Azul is Salamanca's outstanding, reasonably priced restaurant.

Type of housing: With a family
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?

Even thought I lived in the center, I had to take all my meal with the family and my room was was too small (I shared it with another person...). Host family can be great if you get a good family but you don't choose...
