Most travel has to be arranged through Madrid, but you can get to certain locations (Seville, Valladolid, Bilbao, etc.) directly from Salamanca. Valladolid airport is great for cheap Ryanair flights!

I change families within a week from my arrival, the first family was "dissapointing", they were smokers and had pets - which i specifically asked not to have in the house. The second family was an elderly lady and her son - they were like my family, a family away from home. The lady and her son was very nice to me.

I think the housing facilities at the University of Salamanca are excellent but way too expensive for a student who does not have a scholarship. That is why I had to live outside the university campus. I am very happy with my choice though. I'm close to the campus and to the Plaza Mayor which is the heart of the city, the facilities in my flat are good and my flatmate are good and fairly organized people.

The master's tools learned have very good appliance in the real world business. In fact, every lesson implies a previous work done by the students in groups, aiming to solve a real situation in business world. These practices are called case studies, and are worked through the methodology of Harvard.

Moreover, lecturers and selection team helps the student to develope a good linkedin profile, CV and apply and incorporate to the desired internship.

Each faculty has a pretty substantial book with a myriad of choices to take. My advice is to take your time going to these courses during orientation to scope them out before committing to them. You can buy ready made notes for most courses at the photocopy shops, which makes life a lot easier!
