Studing surronded by Italian History and Nature
Clara P
Italy, Undergraduate
Language, 2020
Overall
Every faculty is in a different location of the city and the Foreign Languages' one is in the best location possible: divided in three ancient palaces in the old and suggestive High City of Bergamo.
Beautiful gardens, the Walls, traditional restaurants and cafeterias, the castle and the Old Library are all at 5 min. walking distance, all surrounded by the scenery of the Downtown and the mountains.
The language courses are organized by one italian teacher (that is also fluent in the language of the course) and 3+ mother tongue teachers. There is also a tutoring service and the university card is also a debit card you can use in the services of the university, but also in normal shops.
It is definitely the perfect environnement to learn and breath good air meanwhile.
Only downside is the slow burocracy and administration.

Bergem life
UTKU B
Italy, Graduate
Tourism, 2019
Overall
Bergamo is quite small city and with the help of university projects, it is attracting more and more students every year. The university is offering really nice erasmus/exchange programs and also independent projects for some related courses. Apart from that, there is no campus life. Students just coming for the lectures and then you cant see anybody around. Erasmus or Exchange students are more willing to socialize with new students but i cant say the same thing for italians, unfortunately.

During your degree, if you want to improve yourself by doing your own staff, Bergamo is one of the good place.

A nice experience
ELIF A
Italy,
Psychology and Behavioural Sciences, 2024
Overall
Studying Master's of Clinical Psychology in the university of Bergamo is a great experience since they have classes regarding different approaches of the science of psychology. The professors are qualified, all of them speak English very well, they care about the achievements of the students, they respect the students as colleagues etc. I can say that this university is quite satisfying in the academical sense. However, the university doesn't offer many social opportunities to the students. You're on your own to find people/network.

Review concerning the UNIBG
Lucia K
Italy, Graduate
Psychiatry and Clinical Psychology, 2019
Overall
Since I am enrolled in the international programme, I am only able to offer my judgment concerning my experience, which has been very positive so far. I am completing my masters in clinical psychology in English and over 90% of our instructors are professors from foreign universities. I think that the standard of classes is reasonably high and perhaps the only negative, which I am able to pinpoint is the administration issues.

A good university with some flaws
Valentina M
Italy, Graduate
Language, 2021
Overall
The courses are quite interesting and teachers are really experienced, however the approach is still quite theoretical. It doesn't offer much opportunity to develop soft skills or practical knowledge for a future career path. Nonetheless, I praise Bergamo for providing the right tools to learn a foreign language, such as opportunity to study abroad with Erasmus+ or Extra-EU programmes.

Foreign Languages and Literatures
Marta U
Germany, Graduate
Translation/Interpretation, 2018
Overall
I studied at this Univeristy for 3 years. I graduated in 2018 in Foreign Languages and Literatures.
The course was extremely interesting and the teachers were well prepared.
In addition, the buildings were located in a really beautiful area of the town. So it was even nice going to Uni.
