“Mediazione Linguistica e Culturale”
Simone P
Italy, Graduate
Language, 2017
Overall
The University offers European and Oriental Languages (Chinese, Japanese, Hindi, Arabic) courses with additional one-semester courses of Hebrew and Corean. Oriental languages are taught very well and intensively. Normally there are small groups of people so learning is easier as you can get a direct feedback from teachers. With a bachelor's degree you'll reach an intermediate level, not suitable for seeking employement. European languages students will reach a C1level. However, courses are poorly organised. The huge number of students makes it impossible for teachers to pay attention to each student. Moreover professors are not really engaging. Lessons are quite boring and focused on theory rather than translating and most students feel like what they are learning won't be of any use to them

In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
Important factors in my choice
(1) Unimportant – (4) Very important
Personal recommendation
People are very nicefrom students to teachers and there is a great international students organization that works with some of the biggest universities in milan, preparing activities and parties 6 days a week!!
..but you should always be prepared for a little of that italian desorganization :)

“Utile alla formazione culturale”

Italy, Other courses
, 2002
Overall

“Ancient university in a modern city”
Alberto P
Italy, Graduate
Environmental Sciences, 2010
Overall
It is really helpful and inclusive. It is really diverse which is a great tool to gain exposure and learn to understand peoples perspective. The course itself is very career and industry oriented which is exactly what I wanted. As such, the experience is really educational, both in terms of life as well as academic.
The university library is amazing as it has everything needed. The technology is upto date and the service of borrowing laptops is super helpful.
