Personal spending habits
I spent more money mostly on travelling because every weekend I travelled through Italy. On the other hand, I spent less in nightlife because I used to go out much more in Porto than in Pavia. In general, I spent more in food and telephone because the prices are higher in Italy.

In order to save money, I made almost all meals at home, cooking. I avoided restaurants but, from time to time I went to the University Cantine.

Final comments
I travelled a lot and it was expensive the "carte verde" made train trips much cheaper and youth hostels were economical.
