When I arrived, I didn't speak french, and I have been speaking english for 3 months as myt only one tool for speak and understand, in Belgium is fantastic because every body speak english. After, I finished my first course of french and knew a little bit more and learning every day a little bit when I finished I was able to have a fluent conversation and understand every thing.

Most lectures were taught in English but some of them in French - THAT was a problem for most of the people there and the teacher was somewhat rude about it.

I find a lot of people from other EU and extra UE countries, and we find in language courses a way to get on with local students and habits

if you want to learn french in Liège you have to do only one thing:don't stay always with italian students!there is a big risk to create a little Italy, especially on the campus!!!

It was a very good oportunity for me because the university offered both courses in English and in French

it is quite simple to learn french for italians but you have to take a course if you never study it and if you want really to improve
