“Broad delight”
Carlo R
Portugal, Graduate
Communication and Information Sciences, 2017
Overall
I had a nice time in the University of Utrecht. I studied Communication & Information Sciences. I started a while back. I liked it because you could go in many directions with the courses. During the time I found my way, which is focused on digital culture. In the digital space there is a lot of development, so I can imagine that direction of the study has been developed as well. I can recommend the Utrecht Data School, where you can follow courses for tools where you can capture digital behavior, like Python and R which are very useful.

“Una experiencia dificilmente mejorable.”
Mohamed E
Netherlands,
Economics, 2022
Overall

Great professors, lovely community, personalized education, housing guarantee, the beauty of Middelburg and finally, the beach makes it worth studying at UCR. However, career guidance is near to non-existent, and there are not that many courses to choose from due to the low numbers of professors available (sometimes even 1 prof available per major).

Overall
The courses are designed in away to make the students take a more proactive approach to learning, providing appropriate support as is expected in a Masters Program.
Given the corona situation, they have also tried to make best of allocating available resources to facilitate learning.
They have a career service department giving regular enriching workshops on preparing the students for the job market with relevant.

Final comments
Utrecht is fun and bustling. The town has a fantastic vibrancy and youthfulness that is contagiuos - this is juxtoposed with a very historic and quaint city. Both aspects seem to compliment each other perfectly for some odd reason.
As for travel tips unfortunately i am one of the few Australians to come to a European city and not travel around to other countries, to tell you the truth i was completey content staying in Utrecht itself and expereincing teh Dutch culture and great atmosphere - There was always some event/action to keep you involved with the city.

“Freedom in your programme”
Tatiana J
Netherlands, Undergraduate
Biology, 2017
Overall
The Utrecht University provides a broad range of units within the Biology programme. A few units are mandatory, but of the 3 years study, almost 2.5 years are your own choice. That is what attracted me to this university, and that is what I enjoyed. I got to follow subjects that I thought were most interesting, and left out the subjects that I knew I didn't want to work on later in life.
