THE UNIVERISTY HAS A VERY GOOD INFRASTRUCTURES (A LOT OF COMPUTERS, A BIG LIBRARY, A CINEMA INSIDE THE UNIVERSITY BUILDING...), BUT MOSTE IMPORTANT IS THAT THE CITY IS MARVELLOUS! GO TO UTRECHT!YOU WILL THANK ME!

From my own experience, I hardly recomend to pact a timetable before startin any resarch project, otherwise you are going to spend much more time at university than you would like, specially in comparation with the regular Erasmus students.

If you are planning travel a lot around the contry, it is really intersting to by a discount card for the train that can be used for 4 persons at the same time. It's quite expensive but you really save money at the end.
And the most important advice: if you don't want to spend a month in a hostel, look for accomodation before to get there. It's really difficult to get a room for rent for yourself!!

Make friends with your erasmus fellows and go with them to their home countries!!!
In Holland: possible to get a discount card for public transportation, particularly for trains (and allows you to travel with 3 other friends at the same discount)
Do not forget to register at the city hall, and if you work you must have an insurance!
A lot of low costs airplane companies throughout Nl.

Don't bring too many clothes.
A back pack and a sack pack are more than enough.
Get here at least 15 days before.
Get a bycicle as soon as you can and get a light.
