Academic - Don't miss a class... always take notes and pay atention/ask questions always... Other - Be outgoing, go out as much as you can and join as much clubs (ski club) or events as possible you won't regret it

The UBC is a very good universitiy and depending in which faculty you are studying in we experiended that there are big differences- and the courses you chose!

Final comments
Before starting our studies in September I travelled to the USA. I can highly recommend this trip. We travelled from Vancouver to Seattle and down to San Francisico.

Vancouver Island is georgous, all the coast around Vancouver and the mountains are beautiful. It is also a paradise for skiing!

The campus was lovely and huge. Class sizes ranged from 30 to over 300 students. Most of the buildings are new, and there are many food shops nearby to have a great meal. The professors are for the most part very qualified and do their best to help you succeed.
