Improving my english was definitely one reason to go to Vancouver, however due to interacting a lot with german speaking students I did not improve as much as I had hoped for. Nevertheless I was able to enrich my vocabulary quite a bit.

Very useful to stay with people speaking fluently the local language, even if they are international students. But i had no problem, even before coming there.

it was pretty easy to comunicate its pretty much the same as american english except with some "oots".. hehehe aboot... ouoot... ahhaha accent things...

We were in a group with 62 exchange students and we had the opportunity to improve the english idiom based on relationship with people from different nationalities.

I am speaking more fluently and I am less shy in speaking English. Of course the contact with other exchange students and locals improved my slang language as well.
