Personal comments
Communicating with the host university was not a problem at all, it was easy to get things accomplished as school, but you learn basic language skills to have an easier time in the rest of the city and most of the older generation in Prague are less likely to speak english outside of the tourist areas.

Personal comments
Dont eat around the city center, everything is way to expensive because of tourist reasons. Find your way out to Praha 3 and beyond where you will find authentic food that is cheap but quality.
