If you are not familiar/ have had no exposure to with Slavic Languages prepare for a some huge culture shock. Most of the admin here spoke English, and most Czech students were willing to jump in and help if they saw you struggling.

Final comments
If you are going to do any traveling in Europe while studying abroad book your plane tickets early. During the summer it is very humid and hot. Pack shorts and T's. There are various local pools that are fun to go to where you can interact with locals at.

I mean at the beginning it was really difficult to speak czech with the locals, but after some time I got used to it, and I was able to understand them, and now in the last three weeks I was able to speak quite well czech
