“Why study at VSE?”
Diego C
Czech Republic,
Economics, 2025
Overall
It is an excellent university for those who have in mind studying careers related to finance and business. It has a good infrastructure in a very good and central location in Prague. The teachers are always willing to support the students.
On the other hand, student life turns out to be very good, since the campus has study areas, bookstores, a cafeteria, etc.
Additionally, the dorms are very close to campus, making it perfect for saving time on trips to university. Besides this, the facilities have everything necessary for the student to make the most of it and be able to complete their studies satisfactorily.

Careers
The university has many agreements with various universities around the world. From the first semester of studies, they keep you informed about it through talks and information sent to the institutional email.
The requirements they set for you are fair and adequate so that anyone who proposes it can apply and make the exchange. They rarely worry about that aspect.

Try to explore the whole country, because the capital alone does not say everything about a country, its people and culture.

“A good starting point in life”
Barbora V
Czech Republic,

Overall
I liked the international environment and the possibility to attend some courses held in English. I learnt how to work in a team, how to find and cite the most valuable sources. I improved my German and English and met many interesting people. The University of Economics is probably not the most difficult one, but I assume that it prepares students well for entering the labor market and gives them many important skills like working in a team, giving presentations, evaluating data and so on.

Pros
Great diversity
Cons
Teachers do not change tests and some of them are available online.
