The english universities do not work as they do in France, the system is different but it seems working as well.
Combine the essay exams with a short multiple choice quiz to check your knowledge. At the moment is suffices to only learn 3 out of 10 topics very well and not do anything about the other ones.
The quality of the courses is not really good! Most of the teachers have some communication problems. Further, they do not really deliver well-planned lectures...
