Évaluation globaleStudying French and German at Leeds was an eye-opening experience. I learnt not only an incredible amount of language but also acquired new ideas and new ways of thinking that made me change my perception of the world, in particular, French and German-speaking regions. The lecturers on my course were incredibly supportive and always willing to answer questions and help guide us in the right direction when it came to essay-writing, general study tips and formulation of our thoughts and opinions in an academic and structured way. The careers service available was equally useful and offered not only online guide presentations on cv-writing and job applications but also one-on-one sessions. These allowed us to focus more on what career paths would be suited to our particular interests and capabilities.

L'espace carrières
The school of languages, cultures and societies offered a good handful of internship opportunities, as the university was linked to various different companies abroad. These were mostly companies who had previously hired interns from the university and found them to be consistently reliable candidates. I found my internship in the human resources department at a medical technology firm in Munich through the online university careers portal. Career advice was always provided, more so if the student engaged with the office. The information online is understandably more generalized (although still useful) and for this reason, one-on-one sessions were much more helpful.

“My experience as a Food science student”

As a Food science masters student, the main thing about my Course is Food processing and safety as well as the module includes biochemistry, physical aspects of food and microbiology. While it covers all the modules above that is so much needed for a student to have a great knowledge about what they are studying and what they want to do in their future. To me this college is the bestest college ever! I am very much happy to be a student here as all the staffs are so welcoming and friendly and keep smiling the whole time. Whenever we Feel nervous and there they would help us over come any fear about our subject.

L'espace carrières
There are so many job fairs happening in the university but as a student who had just joined a month ago and we are trying out best in finding jobs. To me I would like a practice before I get a job that is the internship we’re I can learn a lot practically that helps me grow in my future.

Excellent teaching, great ambiance, great laboratory teaching techniques, quiz programs and many many.
Inconvénients
I don’t think my university has any cons. I always say there is only positive side.

The university of Leeds has a wide variety of course provided by a passionate and engaged staff with total focus on their students. The university campus is integrated into the centre of the city leading to a student experience that combines the experience of living in a bustling and modern city with the convenience of a well organised campus. The student union is large and very ready to provide all sorts of help to any student who has a query. There is also a dizzying array of possible clubs and societies which are key in improving the university experience and making time at Leeds memorable
