Personal spending habits
In general British pound is more than US dollar so I spent slightly more on drinks and cover when we would go out than I would at home. And money spent on travel...there is so much to see I spent the money willingly to travel to countries so close by.

Overall
I wish I had known...
Can't think of anything, no. I think I was pretty well informed.

In my opinion:
Most people loved it.
Important factors in my choice
(1) Unimportant – (4) Very important
Personal recommendation
The University of Stirling is used to international students, and is quite flexible what comes to course selection and administration. Teaching (at least of Film & Media) was good, too.

During my experience abroad, I ...
(1) Never – (4) A lot
Became familiar with another culture
Met people from other countries
Experienced a change in life
Advanced my studies & career
Final comments
If Scotland interests you and you're not necessarily looking for the hustle and bustle of big cities, Stirling is an excellent choice. Besides, Glasgow and Edinburgh are so near that you make regular day-trips, should the every-day environment get boring (which it probably won't do).

Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
Being older now, i would probably choose to live in a shared flat off campus. For an exchange student (especially if it's your first time abroad) campus accommodation is a good choice, though.

well the university might be very reputed but i myself from a different education system can not cope up with it satisfactorily and would prefer more practicals instead of continuously harping on theories because here we don't get the opportunity of implementing theories.

well i am yet to finish my studies but hope atleast i'll end up to a good job after finishing this course because otherwise my trip would be a complete disaster here and then would never be able to recommend people to come up here in near future to those who are known to me

Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't.
Language difficulties
Administrative / Institutional
Personal comments
well both these aspects were quite good and didnot have any much problem except the accent problem of the british people because they pronounce words in a different way which was a bit difficult to understand.
