Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
I lived in one of their chalets with 4 other students my age. We each had our own room but shared 2 bathrooms, a small kitchen and living area. This was better than the dorms cause it had an apartment feel to it but was better than an aparment because it was so close to class.

Get into a chalet if you can. The dorms are alright but from what I saw, very small and there are way too many people packed onto a floor. For the most part accomdation was clean and my roommates were very friendly.

“Very international university”

Overall
The campus is amazing. It makes a very work-focused environment for students. Teachers are engaged with their classes, which is something that you don't actually see in many places. Modules are easy to follow but challenging. The assessment system I believe is the best to learn, since it is research based, and not exam based.

Loved Muirhead. Others may have not liked their dorms, but Muirhead was really great. Two showers, rooms with resonable space...

Some complain that the housing looks too prison like. But if you spend so much time in your dorm and/or staring at your dorm, then you are missing the beautiful campus around you. Plus I got to live with three Scots and an Austrian. True international experience.
