Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
I lived in a very nice on-campus small flat with a kitchen and a bathroom. It was all very clean (though it depends on students themselves) and warm. The kitchen included fridge, stove, kettle, toaster etc... Everything you need for normal living.

The University of Sussex accomodations are quite good with all possible choises such as rooms, houses, family flats etc. They all are situated within the area of the University which is very comfortable for studying. Moreover at the moment the University is building new student residences, though I can not say anything about the quality since these residences are only "half-done".

the good thing about brighton is that it is close to London. You can get to london by train or by coach, where it is only 10£ return in the day. When you first arrive in Brighton thz cheapest place to go and get a room is the backpacker called St Christopher on Kin's road in front of the Pier, it is cheap.
