I think, Uppsala University is one of the best universities to go to.
It was a good university, a rich studentlife and a rich culture. The thing to keep in mind is that Sweden is expensive but there are ways to make it cheaper.

Go see St. Peterburg if you have the chance. The boat to Helsinki is so cheap that you can not go around that and Norway is too pretty to be left out, although I did because I know I will go there eventually.

Sweden is such a big country...you need much time to travel around.
Finland is close to sweden: get there by ferry from stockholm (cheap and fun...beware drunk people on the boat).

Travel around Sweden (Gotland, Kiruna, Stockholm, etc.), don't look at the money (it's a once in a life experience)

Enjoy! People are nice, but do take initiatives such as enrolling in courses you like yourself. This is gerenally possible.

See as much as you can, especially Lappland is worth going! Stockholm is nearby, take the Swebus express, with a student ticket for 45sek.
