Since most of my courses were in German, I learned to study in this language and to use special terms in many business areas. As I also attended some seminars, I had to interact in German, to prepare presentations and to work on projects with my Austrian colleagues, which I think, has helped to improve my communication skills.

For people comming from the Eastern Europe, the accomodation is rather expensive, even if it is very good. But if you have friends in the town, they can help you to rent a flat or room un the city which is sometimes even cheaper than dormitory.

the accomodation was well organized. the room was nice but a little bit too small for two persons; quite expensive too. very good location; near to the centre. name of the apartment house: Haus Erasmus. good fun for international students; sometimes a little bit noisy, crowded pub at the ground floor.
if your german is not good, choose classes in english (or in german but together with other exchange students). there are special classes for exchange students.

there is too much burocracy. it's not very easy to plan a semester at the WU. sometimes you just follow what the others do.
economics (VWL) is generally not that overcrowded course, with makes the classes more interesting and the atmosphere more familiar than in business administration (BW/IBW)
