OverallI have been studying Applied mathematics (specialization in Financial Engineering) at this university. This program comprises Mathematics, Economics and Finance courses. The mathematics courses which are from basic to advanced levels have helped me to understand the finance world in detail. To mention some, i have taken the courses portfolio management, Finance, Stochastic processes, Financial mathematics and operation research. The teachers have a good knowledge and they were trying their best to make us better. Students are few in number and they are from all over the world and we have a good relationship.

Not much really - Denmark and Sweden are not that different. Didn't know how much it mean to me to meet so many different people from other countries and cultures, though!

Evreybody here speeks english quite well, so don't be afraid to participate in those courses tought in english. There are courses, both beginners and advanced, to get you started in swedish, but if you are not familiar with either of theese languages you are in for some hard work catching up!

Final comments
Be here for the introduction days - thats when you meet your friends, and thats when social groups are formed - don't miss it!!! Some people are lonely and homesick because they're isolated and don't know anybody. The international student organisation here isn't too well organized, so use the opportunities you do have!

Final comments
Really good university and already received the certification of environmental standard (ISO 14001) . Splendid building with wooden design.
Multicultural students scattered in campus and it is interesting how they interact with others with their own accent (and I with mine as well )

Final comments
I spent the best half a year of my life in sweden in good circumstances surrounded by great personalities. The world opened up for me. If you have the feeling to move and go somewhere, do not stay at home but grab the chance. In my point of view the most helpful advice is to remain open and find the positive side of everything.
