An entire course in English, with a small class and many practical projects
Giorgia B
Italy, Graduate
Public Relations / Publicity / Advertising, 2020
Overall
Most of the courses were very practical, with projects entirely developed by our teams. I got the chance of learning how a brand works, good basis of marketing, developing a communication project for a brand and finally an advertising campaign.

At the end of the evening, nightlife is pretty expensive, that was a great surprise, especially because I had to take the taxi home most of the time. Cost-saving tips: cook more yourself!!!

The best night spots for student in Lisbon is "Barrio Alto", the ancient part of the town, with narrow streets, many small bars and restaurant and full of young people. another wonderfull place is tha all coast of Portugall, with amazing beaches, sea and waves.

I could only speak some phrases in portuguese before I went there, and most of them I had taken from lyrics of fados and brazilian music, but people from Lisbon are so patient and curious about foreign peole that I hardly could avoid to learn the language ;)

Never again
Gina
Belgium, Undergraduate
, 2022
Overall
To start off by pointing out the positive things: Professors are very well educated and interested in proving good education.

However, I would not recommend anyone to choose this university for their Bachelors or exchange. Administrative matter takes several weeks (even for the smallest requests) and contacting the university does not help. Certain employees give the impression of being completely overwhelmed and unable to deal with requests/issues.

Contacting the university via email is not helpful at all because you will most likely either get ignored or receive the answer that you have to wait (for whatever; this seems to be a standard answer); via telephone you will either be told that the person you reached is not able to help or be re-connected every two minutes because no one has patience for phone calls or tells you that their department is not responsible for the issue. In the end this becomes a vicious circle because one persons refers to another and so on but no one actually solves the issue or provides help.
