“What to expect from my university”
Melissa T
Italy,
Tourism, 2024
Overall
I graduated in languages and literatures at the University of Bergamo in 2021. During the bachelor I had the chance to study and to learn a lot about German and English and their respective literatures. What I studied gave me a new mental framework on how to analyse the world and its phenomena in a new perspective. For this reason, I continued my academic career in the same university. The master course in Planning and management of tourism systems gave me a lot, thanks tothe many visiting professors that come from every part of the world, who bring a new and fresh perspective to our field of study. What I appreciate is also the organization of many summer schools and winter schools which give the students the possibility to learn something new in addition to our courses.

It is good if you are told more about where you are going before you make your mind up. Research more about the town before you go!

It is a beautiful city, especially the Upper city. But is not a university city and nightlife is limited, so if you prefer the quiet life, come here. It is close to the mountains so is ideal for hiking and skiing.

Overall
The psychology courses at Unibg has equal standard compared other universities but what makes the MA Clinical Psychology stands out is its inclusion of some aspect of organizational psychology, making students not limited to to only the clinical settings but can work perfectly in organizations. The school provide students the opportunity to study abroad with scholarships. Learning facilities are great and professors are highly experienced. Overall, the opportunities, students and professors relationship and the research expected of professors provides an outstanding student learning experience.

Overall
The course is well compound and with enough good level of professors. Unfortunately, votes are not always depend from personal efforts, but also from interpersonal relations and sympathy. Good option in choosing of exams' dates that is very flexible. If a student is not satisfied about a vote, it's a possibility to refuse it and take another time. Not stressful in lessons, but a bit stressful during preparation. Generally, it was a positive experience and very nice memories.
