After having arrived in Australia I noticed very soon that the Australian language does have differences to the formal British or American English you learn at school or university, respectively. But I coped pretty well, and after a couple of weeks you really get used to it.

In the beginning it was not so easy to understand some Australians people (some are speaking with slang). But after 6 months I had no problems anymore.

I WAS HELPED THROUGH ALL THE ACAMEDIC BOUREAUCRACY AT THE BEGINNING BUT I SOON TOOK FULL CONTROL ON MY UNIVERSITY AND EVERYDAY LIFE.
