You will find a lot of possibilities for traveling (there is one kind of train ticket, which allows you to travel very cheap)

Closer to the main campus and to the city. The apartment in which I lived on-campus was about a mile from the main campus and the city center.

the rent was really cheap, more that what I was used to in Italy: nice surprise, uh? people living with me were not that nice... but who cared? I was always out!
